The first 20 settings on the Encore™ ESP coffee grinder are designed for micro-adjustments. These settings have a very detailed resolution between setting clicks, changing as little as 20 microns in burr spacing. This allows for precise control over your grind, making it easy to achieve the perfect espresso consistency. The versatility of the Baratza Encore™ ESP grinder doesn’t stop at espresso. With the additional 20 settings (21-40), the grinder delivers a much broader range of macro adjustments. This range allows you to adjust from fine AeroPress and coarse Moka pot grinds, up to coarser grinds ideal for a French press. The seamless transition between micro-adjustments for espresso grinding and macro-adjustments for other brewing methods is a unique selling point of this ESP grinder.
